Save Your VIsion




March is national Save Your Vision month. I can remember as a child my mother never needed a pair of glasses but she often had trouble seeing or her eyes would ache. The problem normally was that they were always tired. She overworked her eyes. This is something that happens often. There are things that you can do so your eyes do not over tire.



One of the most important things to do is to take breaks. The computer is one thing in our modern day time that will wear our eyes out. Being on the computer for  long periods of time is not good for our eyes. Digital eye strain can be avoided by following the 20/20/20 rule. For every 20 minutes you are on computer, look away for 20 feet for 20 seconds. This allows your eyes a short break.



Don a pair of sunglasses. Sunglasses will help protect your eyes against UVA/UVB rays. They will also help against the adv

A regular routine eye exam will help you prevent losing your vision.
